Mary Romney-Schaab

I was born in New York City, but my family is from the Caribbean island nation of St. Maarten.

With roots in the Caribbean, I am interested in African Diaspora history, oral history, languages, and culture. A retired educator, I spent over 40 years teaching English as a second or foreign language in Madrid, New York, Barcelona, and Connecticut.
